About Steve Pavlina
Steve Pavlina is a blue-eyed, colorblind, left-handed, well educated, vegan, lucid dreaming, purpose driven, happily jobless, reality manipulating, meditation practicing, love polarized, risk taking, goal seeking, problem solving, early rising, passive income generating, highly motivated, energetic, disciplined, persistent, optimistic, fearless, and proactive... writer, speaker, blogger, podcaster, computer programmer, game designer, entrepreneur, husband, father, lightworker, and archetypal Aries. Steve's passionate pursuit of personal growth began in January 1991 while sitting in a jail cell. Arrested for felony grand theft, the full weight of responsibility for his life came crashing down upon him. He realized his own decisions had put him there and that no one was going to save him. He knew his recovery wouldn't be easy, and he felt inadequate to the task. He was 19 years old.
Upon returning home from jail, Steve received a letter informing him that he'd been expelled from school. Apparently schools do that sort of thing when your GPA starts with the decimal point. In that moment he understood that his options were either to grow up or to give up. He chose to grow.
Since that time Steve has become one of the most intensely growth-oriented individuals you'll ever know. After overcoming his almost daily kleptomania addiction, he started over in college as a freshman and graduated in three semesters with a double-major in Computer Science and Mathematics. Steve has run the L.A. Marathon and trained in martial arts, and he's maintained a 100% vegan diet since 1997. He can also make damned good guacamole. His public experiments documented on this web site include becoming an early riser, polyphasic sleep, giving up television, and manifesting money via the Law of Attraction.
