were not nearly as strong as we were 150 years ago, i mean ya we live longer and appear to live better lives
but i believe we value life too much of course we all want to live thats what were all about

i think a major population wipe is exactly what we need to survive

I honestly dont understand why we panic so about surviving catastrophe. It will be how it is at the time and all the preparation in the world wont help!

Stop wasting the time you have now to live life to its fullest! If it happens, then it does. Worry about it then!

It's the difference between preparation, and paranoia . And, all the time and preparation in the world, will absolutely help. People who have learned to survive off nature, will survive. People who have weapons, will have a much better chance. A person with no survival training, won't last very long. This is assuming of course, that the initial event is survivable.

Now, if you are paranoid, and waste the life you have, constantly preparing, then that is a different story. But you seem to be lumping all preparation in, as a waste of time. What isn't a waste of time? Why is something a waste of time?

Okay then...firstly (and this is my opinion only), believing in this 2012 stuff IS paranoia! ...and while the collective consciousness grows with it and yourself contributing to it....get where I'm leading?

Now this is human nature....no matter how much one prepares for anything, the panickers will still panic, the gung-ho's will still want to take control over everyone, the followers will follow and the leaders will lead.

I'm assuming that even now in this gadget-infested, fingertip-world, there's still some flight n fight instinct in human nature? So if you manage to survive any major catastrophe pretty much still in tact, then with luck there'll still be uncontaminated water around (a worry), bush food (if that hasnt been wiped out or if your geographical area offers bushy country)....so it doesnt take rocket science to go fetch natures food/water source.

You can start preparing now by getting a small patch of land and learning how to grow your own uncontaminated vegies instead of relying on the supermarket to supply you with carcenogenic, genetically modified, radiated, steroid-filled, messed-with foods.....those are killing us all off quicker then any pending major castrosphe right now. I mean, why wait for a tsunami to wipe us out? We're doing quite well now...or havent you noticed our kids dropping off the planet at a rapid rate with cancers? So better to chop wood, grow foods and live healthy in the present instead of worrying about some future event, you think? I mean, any giant tsunami is going to wash away your food stores, guns, homes, fuel, power, water and farms anyway. Any astroid is going to sink cities.

So now do you get why I say live life to its fullest right NOW?
