Been watching the coverage of the war in Libya. Each time I see the rebel fighters 'celebrating' by firing their guns into the air, aren't they wasting ammunication? I don't think the war is over yet.

| They were doing it even when they first started. Seems wasteful for rebels who have to salvage their weapons and ammo. (Hey, Salvage-tion Army! And as rawxstacy said, bullets come down and injure people. Or they can bust the windshield on that nice car they just repoed from Q. On NBC Nightly News there was a clip where one yahoo almost shot his friend's face off who was standing behind and slightly above him, like on a higher step. The barrel was literally a few inches from the guy's head and was fired without warning, without looking, without the slightest thought. I hope he gave his buddy with the gun a well-deserved punch in the face later! What's the point of overthrowing a dictator if you're just gonna die from raining ammo? (Well, if not die, have a bad injury.) |
