I haven't dusted or vacuumed my bedroom for a while and today I saw an ant crawling over my desk! Where did it even come from? What am I supposed to do, just flick it off and hope that no more appear while I'm lying warm and sheltered on my sturdy bed?! People are hacking an online video game I play, and now my choice of how to pass my abundance of free leisure time is being occasionally frustrated! Right after an interesting update! I thought I'd save a couple of dollars by buying generic brand dried fruit, but it tastes bad without soaking it or something, and now I have to get through a whole kilo before I can buy the nicer brand again! UGH. What are your first world problems? |

Lol. Want me to move this to Fun and Rec? A funny one: I can only get internet at my grandparents senior center, not the old house they're trying to sell. But their apartment is WAY too small for the family gathering and a certain uncle and his boys won't stop annoying me, so I'm doing school/writing a resume/surfing the internet in whatever floor's laundry room happens to be open--and the washing machines aren't too comfortable! |

My cat has this cute habit of jumping onto my shoulder and letting me taxi her around. She leaves cat hair all over my shirt though and sometimes I forget to take it off before going out. I then become aware of this and feel very self-conscious about how I look. 'What are other people thinking? I bet they are telling them selves, "Look at that hairy woman!"' |

I once had to travel 200 miles by train, which takes around 2 hours. However, the train was delayed by around 20 minutes, so it actually took me TWO HOURS AND TWENTY MINUTES to travel 200 miles, instead of 2 hours. Can you believe that? How annoying!!! The other day I had to send an email to a friend in Seattle, which is approximately 4800 miles from London. But my internet connection wouldn't work! I had to WALK UPSTAIRS, reset the router, then WALK BACK DOWN, then WAIT A FEW MINUTES until I was able to instantly send that message to my friend nearly 5000 miles away. Frakkin ridiculous!! I was so annoyed. Another thing about first world living - there are too many hot girls! Now that it's summer, they are everywhere, walking around in their short skirts, low cut tops, smiling and casually strolling along. I live in a busy hub, always full of people so walking outside is dangerously arousing nowadays. |

My garbage disposal pooped out on me. Now I have to actually scrape my plates before rinsing them off and putting them in the dish washer. Goll! What an inconvenience! Oh, and the other day I had to do laundry. I know the machines do all the work and everything, but still. What a pain. |

My community had to fight a large water bottling company who shall not be named from completely wrecking the tranquil and lush ecosystem of our small forested town with their bottled water BS. Yay for first world economic freedom We won by the way. |

A short while after that (maybe 6 mos.) my laptop died on me, even though there was no sign of any more ants. It was interesting, and I had to buy a new laptop about 2 years ago...or was it 3? | |
