 |  Jaycee Dugard (First Interview)
I watched the Diane Sawyer interview with Jaycee Dugard and was shocked and speechless. I came away with the following thoughts: Is horrible what happened to her. SHe was a child that had her life stolen by a repeat rapist who should never have had the opportunity to kidnap or rape. I'm appalled by the collective incompetency of the entire justice system for letting a Rapist out early, for the parole officers who never managed to check out the backyard, for the police who never followed up on the report of children living in the backyard. I worry about her two daughters 11 & 15 who have never went to school or the doctor or have made friends. How will they be assimilated into any normal life. |
