BBC News - US 'hate groups' bolstered by Obama's election

Thought this might be interesting, particularly to people living in the US. Again, like the last BBC article I posted, it isn't particularly positive, and it probably involves quite a generalization.

But is the general picture accurate? Obviously, many outside the US see the tea party and Sarah Palin etc as a manifestation of what is discussed in the article. Is it disappointing for fiscal conservatives that such groups have hijacked and contradicted their 'common sense' position? And why, and how, do you get rid of such nuttiness - is the problem taking your religion too seriously?

I like this quote, I think the biggest indicator of equality, if you can accept those people when their empowered or when they authority over you.

Interesting! Imagine if Obama had a Jewish VP. Did that contribute to Al Gore losing-- Joe Lieberman being Jewish? America did a horrible thing with blacks. They brought them here against their will and made them property like a dog.

They bought them from other blacks. No one ever blames them... It is what it is. It was the thing to do at the time. Slavery has been around since ever. To live with that ******** now is ridiculous. No one is a slave anymore ( in the old sense at least). Blacks and Jews can do anything they are personally capable of.
