It's a bit like blaming the bank for your credit card debt.

They knew what they were doing when they borrowed all that money. I really feel for the Greek people, I hope they can move on and start digging themselves out of this mess and that they don't let their government behave like that again.

What I'd like to know is where did all that money go?

I hope this EU zone debt thing would settle down - the markets are all over the place!

Something tells me this might just be the tip of the iceberg though...

Down the socialist rat hole. When the predominant form of employment in a country is government employment, it's easy to blow through a pretty much arbitrary amount of cash.

Goldman Sachs lend the money, Germany and France sold weapons.
California has worst finances than Greece.

When France and Germany announced they would support Greece, Moody's attacked to freak investors out. German politicians are talking about "conspiracy" of credit rating agencies. DW: To weaken credit rating agencies? (www.skai.gr)

German citizens are willing to help greek people, even doing personal sacrifies for them. DW: 49% of germans favor helping greek people (www.skai.gr)

I've been wondering about it too... everyone has been living with debts for ages, I'd love to know how and why all this is brought into the spotlight, in all the countries, at the same time. Everyone has debts! Most politicians who are into this don't look smart enough to look further than "get money-get power-press people to be quiet", so there could be nothing more than money and power under all this.

According to some studies, if we were given the money from Germany, we would probably have no debt at all, we'd even have money to give. And now, there is suddenly a "law" that forbids us from getting the money from Germany. We cannot know how true this is, because our politicians themselves never looked into it. I'm not saying to push Germany into bankruptsy, just pointing out that they're not financially inoccent about the matter of Greece. I have heard that many German people are with us, and I was sincerely moved There are some idiots here (every country has some ) who think that everyone in Germany is against us, I'm pointing out to them it's not like that. This is everyone's problem, even Germany's. Us getting destroyed doesn't nessecarily mean that crisis won't get German eventually.

We were targeted in purpose, the debt was just the excuse, the Troijan horce if you will. By who were we targeted, this is a big question! Greece is actually a country full of resources, and there is even petrol hidden in Aegean sea, which petrol is suddenly starting to get extracted from Cyprus. What a coincidence, this crisis...
