I've been wondering about it too... everyone has been living with debts for ages, I'd love to know how and why all this is brought into the spotlight, in all the countries, at the same time. Everyone has debts! Most politicians who are into this don't look smart enough to look further than "get money-get power-press people to be quiet", so there could be nothing more than money and power under all this.

According to some studies, if we were given the money from Germany, we would probably have no debt at all, we'd even have money to give. And now, there is suddenly a "law" that forbids us from getting the money from Germany. We cannot know how true this is, because our politicians themselves never looked into it. I'm not saying to push Germany into bankruptsy, just pointing out that they're not financially inoccent about the matter of Greece.
