Default Cell Phone Talker Ejected from Train

Loud cell-phone talker removed from quiet car by police - Yahoo! News

You know, I read an article such as this and the first thing I think of?

What the hell kind of cell phone does she have that allows her to talk for 16 hurs straight without needing to recharge the battery??

For me the question is WHAT can you talk for 16 hours. People who don't need introspection always surprise me.

Good one! *

How could you talk 16 straight hours without a piss break?

I used to take pee breaks when I was on the phone with my ex-gf. I had a bluetooth headset though and would just cough real loud when I flushed.

When you say ejected... I'm getting this image that the conductor has a control panel where he can eject any seat he desires. Due to the annoyance caused by this rude passenger, the conductor pressed the proper button and the offender was propelled through the ceiling of the train and met an untimely death.

Since the actual story can't be more awesome than what I currently hold in my minds eye, I'm not going to read the link. Thanks for sharing that great headline though!

Mounds: Imagining funnier news, one story at a time.

This thread should be moved to Fun and Rec...it's hysterical! And some GREAT observations.

There's only one thing I EVER did for 16 hours, and it involved white powder.

Seriously? I've been on a bus for +56 hours a couple of times and it was my idea of hell. Especially at night when you can't see outside the window and you are in Northern Ontario (where there are no lights). You are literally in a moving smelly, tin can surrounded by utter abyss. Just the thought makes me cringe; I felt like I was losing my sanity

BIG BIG BIG difference between the train and the bus.. You can walk around and go to the lounge car and have a LOT of great conversations... Beer and food (albeit not too great and quite expensive) But the people on the train are great...and if you do not like what you see just look out the window as the train goes through some great places.. Denver to SF is spectacular....I did fourteen hours on the bus and do not think I have done too many bust trips since.. Long distance train travel is great IMO.

That doesn't sound so bad... I've thought about taking a long distance train ride where I can book my own room to sleep in, but it is too expensive for me right now. I liked the bus during the day time as the country side in Canada is very beautiful. I didn't like the sense of being shut in during the night though and the fact that I couldn't sleep properly didn't help very much.
