Exclamation Canadian Federal Election

So with the government being launched into its 41st federal election due to a non-confidence vote, I thought perhaps some of us here would have some opinions. With the conservatives in contempt of parliament and the threat of Iggy forming a coalition, we're sure to experience interesting campaigns from all parties.

So, what issues are important to you on this vote? While this is primarily for Canadian's, feel free to chirp in even if you're not.

I'll also put up a poll to see politically how we are slanted.

Do people even have opinions on Canadian politics? I thought we Canadians just vote for the guy (yah... no girl...) that doesn't put us to sleep

When I got up Sunday morning my local Conservative candidate had put one of his election signs on my lawn. Uninvited.

That pissed me off a little so I doubt I will vote for him.

Even though I will likely not be supporting the Conservatives, I hope something so trivial wouldn't be your deciding factor in who you're voting for, locally or otherwise. I mean, in all likelihood it was a volunteer who did it.

Even though I've already voted in the poll I made, I think I'll reserve making a final decision until the end of the campaigns.

Also, this may be of interest to some:

Canada Votes 2011 - CBC News

CBC Radio has been pushing this like crazy, so I took the test and apparently I should vote for the Liberals.

Yeah, too bad about Harper. On a more positive note, the NDP got more votes than they ever had before and are now the official opposition. Further, the Green Party got their first seat in Parliament. Interesting milestones, lol.
