Default Snowmageddon - Are you in it?

The big blizzard of '11 is blasting across the mid US. Hope everyone in its path is staying warm and dry. What's it like outside? My brother's house has snow drifts partway up the windows!

I live in Florida. The high today was 77 and I was out shopping for plum trees. I decided I may have to special order because I want one that has an asian plum graft on it.

Then I come home and see this on facebook!

I hope everyone is OK.

I don't know about out west but it's crazy here in Western Massachusetts....schools were cancelled today and are already cancelled for tomorrow. I walked to the store in knee-deep snow to rent a movie instead of driving because the roads were impossible. It was actually quite the fun adventure - I felt like I was on a quest...

We got about 5 inches today and are expecting 15-20 tomorrow... Driving was pretty hideous today... but then again I was on the road for almost ten hours doing deliveries.. I love having a LOT of snow.. so by this time tomorrow we may have as much as four feet on the ground.. Now thats what I call Winter.. Bring it on!!!

Clear skies here in Vegas although it has gotten colder. Really can't complain. I'm glad I'm out of Massachusetts.

Lower Midwest, my family has over a foot of snow on the ground, and it was -20 F last night! It hasn't been that cold there in a long time.
