This is pretty weak evidence. A quick glance indicates that the goal of this "invention" is to prevent a swine flu epidemic, or at least to provide for vaccines if a swine flu epidemic were to occur.

Note that it describes the h1n1 variant as a minor strain of flu.

Between those you have about 33 years gap but the sudden interest in patenting the 'vaccine' material in 2005, and then the onset of swine flu in 2009 in such short period of year....

The bigger picture is the population are taken for fools, by giving up personal responsibility to the powers that are running their lives.

People find it very hard to think, and step out of their comfort zone and the false reality indoctrinated to them since birth.

Nobody wants to challenge or question their beliefs system because it is uncomfortable and unimaginable to think the system and institution you placed your trust the most in has failed you morally and ethically.

These conspiracy theory threads about the government/corporations engineering such-and-such virus are getting kind of old. If if politician and hospitals were that evil and could keep such a huge secret, the technology isn't there yet to invent a virus that only acts in a certain way, doesn't change later, and doesn't infect politicians or CEOs.

Living things are patented all the time. If you read the original link carefully, this is a case of two research hospitals wanting to retain the rights to a very specific version of H1N1. It's not unusual that researchers patent what they're working on,when the results are unique enough.

H1N1 variations are not a new inventions. H1N1 also did not vanish in the 1980s. H1N1 is a strain of the flu which creates new variations EVERY year (hence the need for annual shots of influenza vaccine if you want continued protection). Most of the time the flu strains are just the common flu, ans for most of us it's not a big deal. But eventually with enough variations, one comes out that our bodies aren't well equipped form... such as the swine-flu H1N1.

If we hate these new avian and swine flus, why don't we just do something about the well-known, documented cause: crossover back-forth from human to livestock, specifically in the course of raising livestock (generally in dirty, crowded, and poorly ventilated situations). Of course humankind is going to keep getting strains of diseases, the more we do this (duh)! But nobody wants to change how livestock can be raised or change their own eating habits. I guess it's easier to imagine secret labs brewing up new diseases than it is to say no to cheap factory-farmed "food" ? Or to just shake one's fist angrily at the pharmaceutical companies who have to treat the ills humans bring upon themselves... while we patronize the very businesses which create these problems?

Funchy hits nail on head.. Look at your diet.. if you eat meat raised in lousy conditions, you get poor quality meat with diseased flock and added risk for handlers. Get to know who raises your food.....Its more money, but in the end it saves you money elsewhere. Its high time we paid attention to the food we eat.. after all we are what we eat...

They are the world's most powerful individuals, they meet in secrecy, the local law enforcement oversees the security of their meetings, they manage to meet without media interest, and the agendas that they are purported to discuss (like the OPEC oil embargo) manifest in the world shortly after the meetings are concluded.
