Man, that reminds me of the racial drafts on Chappelle's Show.

And even women ask a question where are men today, real men, that don't apologize for being a man. Most of them do and feminism has a lot to do with it. I used to, now I don't and I get called a sexist for that. Call me that all you want but I am not... If men found their ways again, there would be less divorces, more happy women, more peaceful world, more kids.
Lol - this reminds me of the purity balls for some reason… Also reminds me of something else but I can’t remember the name. It basically involves men gathering around and declaring to retake their masculinity (because society emasculated them) while being surrounded by women cheering them on and beating a drum (sounds some what scary…). Anyone know what I am talking about?

How have I not seen this thread?

I like gender differences, but if you don't that's no problem.

That's all I've got to say!

Cheerio

I don't remember women cheering, but Robert Bly's Men's Movement is my best guess (drums, reclaiming masculinity, a little fearful misogyny).

Well, i believe women are goddess. Not all, but who try to understand and then go for application. In other words, women who try to spread understanding, i think they can handle whole society. Women are after all humans and it is wrong to cage them within four walls. I think, we all man should treat that them as they deserve. With all safety and kindness. So they can talk with us. Some woman are very shy or some are very talkative, that doesn't mean we should try to control them. We should show them the path of freedom. Here freedom means ability to think, discuss and go what they are thinking. Say yes to them when they are trying to say something, share something or explain. This way we will see beautiful society full of wonderful men and women.

Hi, yossarian, I was just thinking about you this morning -- you had a walk-on part in my dream.

yossarian has finally graced us with his presence in this thread, and thus made yet another big gender-thread complete. One can only hope that he will post more in it, and thus elevating it to an epic status with the ensuing controversy and page long dialogues.

(yossarian I'm not dissing you. I enjoy many of the threads you participate in, which coincidentally often stirs up a lot of drama/attention when you participate, on topics such as this. ; ) )

EDIT: but it turns out this thread was older than the mountains and yossarian had already posted.
