Dear All I live in the UK but if I was in the USA I would be promoting this as enthusiastically as possible. Ron Paul wants to audit the Federal Reserve; for those who know about the scam that is the FR you want to support this. Ron Paul’s Bill To Audit The Federal Reserve Now Has 109 Co-Sponsors | Ron Paul .com |

I agree. Everyone should support this bill. Even if you don't think the Federal Reserve is doing a poor job managing our nation's money supply, there is still no reason why it should not be audited. The best thing we can do is contact our representatives and get them to join the cosponsoring of the bill. So far there are at least 109 cosponsors, which is over 25% of the House. |

I'm not from the US as well, but I am very interested in this topic (where's money coming from, who's got control over it etc), too and I think it would be a HUGE step forward if this audit of the FED will be allowed. It could change a lot, and not only in the US. Please, people of the US, call up your reps and get them to support this! |

The amount of people that I am talking to in the UK who already know about the Federal Reserve (and the rest) is incredible and what's very encouraging it's from the younger generations as well. I watch with interest on this one; anyone else have any views on the FR? Surely the next step is talking about getting back to the Gold Standard- seems the only way to avoid the 'paper money' issue that has collapsed empires in the past; and countries in the present.

It's about congressman publically saying: Yes, I think it's a good idea and I therefore support the bill. If a congressman doesn't really care about whether or not the bill passes he will probably vote the way one of his fellow congressman who actually cares about the bill votes as not every congressman has a real personal opinion on every bill. A congressman who will strongly feel that the bill is important will also influence some of his fellow congressman. At the moment the bill needs to have a majority at the House Committee on Financial Services who vote "Yes".

This is an admirable gesture, but I seriously doubt it will happen. While we wait, let's just Starve the Beasts - Start the Revolution: "It is apparent now there remains only one way for ordinary Americans who love their country and want at least some of what's good about it to be preserved for future generations: We must kill the FIRE Economy beasts (FIRE: Finance, Insurance and Real Estate).I'm done some of the things recommended, like banking with a local credit union and using debit cards or cash for most purchases. |
