Default I have a voting dilemma?

I use to live in New Jersey, I am moving hopefully to New York at some point. So have been living in a hotel for 2 months. So technically I can live anywhere I want. I can get a P.O. Box in West Virgina for my business, done legally. West Virgina is one of the swing states. It also has better tax breaks for my business. I love the idea of being able to vote in a swing state makes my vote more important. Should I do it and would you do it in the same situation?

Can you get a government issued picture ID in a state based on a PO Box and/or a Hotel Address? I know that here in Kentucky you have to have an ID. The location where you go to vote is tied to your address registered with the DMV. I don't know how it is in other states, but I don't think your plan would work here.

Yeah, unforunately our system makes sure that certain voices are unheard. Voting republican in NJ or NY is pointless. In West Virginia though, it might actually count for something. I'd try to get a WV address, but just remember you gotta register to vote in that state as well, and I'm not sure if your registration would be complete by election time.

I don't think that the difference in the amount that your single vote does is enough to register as living somewhere.

Default I got my ID

and I am now a West Virgina voter. With out going through how I did it , and it is legal, or I would not write it so every one can see it. I am now a swing voter with a couple of other friends. I feel powerful now that I have a chance to decide who rules the world!!!!!!! I know its only one vote, but you really have no vote in NJ or NY it has been decided already. Now I feel powerful!!!!!!!!!!!
