I think my favorite documentary is still Hoop Dreams, probably at least 10 years old by now. Last edited by wachusettgirl; 12-31-2008 at 12:15 AM. | |

Flow was very insightful... I got it as part of my monthly membership to Earth Cinema Circle a month or two ago. What really caught my attention was when they said that it would take $30 billion to bring clean water to the entire world, and that we spend $90 billion on bottled water each year.

I am fascinated by FLOW and will consider ordering it. Here is a link to a water bottle that I gave as a gift for Christmas. I love drinking fresh water - until recent years NEVER bought bottled water but then I learned how damaging some of the chemicals in tap water are (such as chlorine and flouride, two among other neurotoxics found in most municipal waters.) With this news I switched to bottled "spring" water but have been quite torn recently b/c of the problem with the plastic bottles. Then I received an email from a local 501 (c)(3) that promotes the outdoors and it was this great water bottle that solved several of my problems. From my limited knowledge it appears to be an earth/water friendly device. Thanks so much for this thread Dan. Drinking Water Filter Bottle |
