| I didn't conveniently forget anything. I was merely filling out JimOfferman's list of what you can do which is: abort it, bear it till birth and keep it OR (added by me) bear it to birth and adopt it. Wow, I guess adoption is never or hardly ever a viable option since you promptly attempt to shoot down my humble attempt to fill in a seeming gap in JimOfferman's post, for which purpose was clear and also the fact that it requires no socio-cultural analysis due to its function. Anyway, here's some points for ya: - A woman might not have the "heart" or whatever to go through with abortion. She might, at the same time, not have the desire. So, she can adopt. The child and the mother are well off. - A woman might not have the "heart" or whatever to go through with abortion. She might, at the same time, not have the means to give it a good future (JimOfferman's example). So, she can adopt. The child and the mother are well off. - She might for religious/spiritual reasons want to go through with the pregnancy, but might not have the desire/means to raise the child. Adoption. I guess you conveniently forgot about all of that. Ooops. |

Yep, exactly. It's really pretty reasonable as it is. |

I believe that abortion is wrong, but that's me. Other people have the right to choose for themselves. I'm not here to tell you how to live your life. I think abortion is a terrible thing, but sometimes it is a necessity for certain individuals. Maybe set a limit on how many someone can have. I think ten is a good solid number
