| Wounded Iraq Machine Gunner Veteran Tells It Like It Is This video really disturbs me. I can't believe we would treat our youth like this. He was paralyzed for six months from being shot in the back while dragging his friend, whose legs were just been blown off by a grenade, into a truck. The US government has said his injury "wasn't service related." I tried to get treated for PTSD, but they claimed I was lying to try to get money from the government. So, I can't really, I've like exhausted that attempt to get compensation for that. Right now, all I get is $100 from the military for my injuries sustained in Iraq. $100 a month, that's it. And the rest, so I'm living with my Mother, what can I say? He says that now special forces are already in Iran securing the oil fields to prepare for our attack there.

| You know, there was another thread concerning soldiers and when I saw it, I went online to try to find articles about reports I had seen on TV about how the army is dishonorably discharging Iraq War soldiers who have post-traumatic stress disorder so that the military doesn't have to pay them. The report said there were thousands of soldiers that the government is doing this to to avoid the cost of paying them. The report interviewed several soldiers and their wives and lawyers who were trying to sue the government, proving that the mental disorder was not a disorder that was present prior to the soldier going into the military. These soldiers had multiple psychiatric evaluations prior to going to Iraq and were all declared healthy. The government is now claiming they had a pre-existing mental disorder! And I searched and searched for reports of this on the Internet to reference it in a thread post, and I swear I couldn't find anything, just a blog post or two alluding to it happening.

| If it's any consolation, US deserters in Canada may have their cases reopened. It's about time they were granted refugee status. U.S. deserter could qualify as refugee: court |

| Of course they are in Iran getting ready for the next phase. They had started in Iraq before we were ever told.Thats how they operate. Soldiers are just fodder. A Polish friend of mine has just got a job in a new factory here in Scotland where he will be assembling blood transfusion kits. The Company he will be working for is American. He tells me the conditions of employment are good: above the minimum wage, 30 days holiday a year etc, and all the kits will be going to iraq (and no doubt Iran).American Buisness makes money hand over foot from war. Why else do you think they start the wars in the first place? Heavens when they can send their young men and women out there to experience these horrors ,get killed or injured and then tell them that they cannot be compensated for injuries sustained, what more proof do you need to KNOW that your Government (ours in the UK too!) dont give a damn for anything apart from oil. Keep them dumb. Keep the flag flying. Send them to their deaths. They are only just above the animal state, uneducated moronic workingclass morons. As to the video shown elsewhere on this forum about Americans being dumb. These people are EXACTLY as your Government would have them. Thats where they get their war fodder from. You cant educate the ****, they might not send their children to Iran. And then who would have to go OUR SONS? The RICH? The Private Schoolers? That would be unthinkable after all we have plans for further development after Iran and OUR KIDS will be running the show by then. I believe America has only just begun on a journey of never before dreamt of cruelty.Iran is only another stepping stone. |

| Thousands upon thousands of returning vets are committing or attempting suicide. And our governement is not doing anything to stop it. They are in fact glossing over the numbers. I may not agree with the premise of the war to begin with, but if we are going to send these young men and women to such a horrific situation, we sure as hell better be willing to do what it takes to help them readjust to life as a civilian.
