I'm really trying here, I don't feel a thing...

I'm usually very emotional when I read about awesome stuff, but this doesn't do anything...

Good stuff.

Those Colombian commandos have some prior job experience as well, let me tell you. Locating and retrieving hostages is valueable skill in that part of the world.

Maybe if one of your family members was held hostage for several years you would feel differently.

Sure, but it wasn't. I tend to get very emotional even when the story is pure fiction though, dunno why this story doesn't get to me.

Evoked only surprise from me.

What struck me as odd about it is that the story wasn't:
a) about violence
b) about whatever pop icon
c) about someone doing something stupid
d) about what what the persidential hopefuls have been doing.

Something good actually made the news!!! Amazing!
