Default Ron Paul on Energy Prices and War

Excellent video from Ron Paul on high energy prices, inflation, and the run up towards war in Iran.

That bill he talks about towards the end sounds so pleasant doesn't it? Embargoes and sanctions just punish the people of a country, not the government. I've heard the Iranian government is just about as unpopular with the people there as our government is here.

Tantamount to pushing a kid in the hallway at school, hoping they'll hit you back.

Maybe The Powers that Be want to provoke Iran into doing something about it. It is the same thing FDR and company did to provoke Japan into attacking us in WWII.

Either Iran will make a move out of desperation or we will have another Gulf of Tonkin Incident.

I love how we act like we are so different from them. We say we will bomb them if they try to build nuclear weapons, under the assumption that they will be unresponsible with them. Are we ourselves responsible with them? No, because we are using ours to constantly threaten other countries.
