And I'm using Swiftfox, a Linux port that's much faster than the regular version.

But I still plan to download Firefox 3.0. I agree with the message of gratis and libre that they champion.

Yep same as Erebos for me: 2.0.0.14

And yeah I love that it's free... the net is almost communist, a gift economy. Music is free (sort of), browsers, PD material...

I love firefox, but come on. They want to set a download record? What good is pledging going to do if you don't actually follow through. I never download software right when it comes out for obvious reasons. I will not start now.

What's obvious about not downloading Firefox when they're trying to set a record.

I just downloaded to see if maybe youtube no longer crashes, but it's still broken.

I guess they maybe do two statistics: one for pledging and one for downloading.
I read somewhere that they will have to hand the download logs to the judges to validate the record.

Anyway, I already got my version today :-)
