| I think it was a terrible mistake to go about constructing Israel in its current location. So many problems would be solved, if they'd just up and move somewhere else. I used to think that Western politicians supported Israel for religious reasons, but now I know better; unquestioning support of Israel stems from our benefitting so much from the Jews. They became the doctors, the scientists, the brilliant artists (Spielburg), the wealthy businessmen... Certainly, they seem genetically predisposed to intellectual pursuits. But they would do well to remember that they aren't the only ones. |

It's something that could be true to a certain degree, either deliberately or not. It's not like Israel has some sort of conscience and has never taken advantage of the lopsided relationship they have with the US.
