Default Someone Stole My Yard Sign for My Candidate

I'm not real sure why I'm posting about it... Well, it *bothers* me that someone did that. I've ordered some posters that I'm going to put on the inside of my front windows, facing out - can't steal those! But you also can't see those as well as you can the yard sign. waaaaaahhhh....

That's it - I needed to whine. Thanks for listening.

Sorry, but this does make me laugh. I should be more empathetic. But I just can't understand this yard sign stuff... You don't see such things happening in Europe...

But then again, we Europeans don't understand a lot of things.

That's pretty typical considering how polarized politics is these days. May I ask which candidate the sign was supporting?

Many neighborhoods ban such "unaesthetic" displays. Mine does. I can't even have an ADT sign in my yard. So maybe it wasn't stolen. Maybe it was "removed."

I think It's amazing the kind of popularity prospective politicians have in the US. It seems more like a party than a Presidential selection process. We don't treat our politicians like that over here in Australia - we certainly don't see them as a wave of change, more like the lying rats they actually are. It has been interesting to note how many Americans say they might actually vote this year - over here voting is compulsory.

In response to your sign being 'stolen' or 'removed' I think it's absurd! Not that I would ever feel strongly enough to go to that much effort but surely you should be able to have any sign you want in your front yard - as long as it isn't derogatory or in bad taste or course.
