Default Is Obama a Conscious Politician?

I know what you're thinking - impossible! Be not so quick to judge though, take a nice breath with me. Mmmm...yeah that's good now read this speech with an empty mind and see where it takes you.

To me his latest speech screams yes:

At first my mind was like: whoa whats all this heat on the reverend then bam it just made complete sense.

Does being "conscious" automatically qualify someone to do the job of president of the United States?

^No, but it sure helps. All I know is that Obama writes his own speeches. The last president that did this was Nixon. That speaks volumes right there. The fact that he's intelligent and can write should make him over qualified when compared to the last few generations of presidents, especially the current one. Would you consider Bush "qualified"? Why? Because he made Texas the most polluted state in the nation and ran a failure of an oil company? I think the whole "inexperienced" thing is bs. NOBODY has experience being president until they're actually in that position.

Obama has integrity. Huge integrity. It radiates if you look at his Aura.

I think a president should have a bit of experience of how politics works in practice, but Obama has had an political office since 1996.
12 years are enough to learn how politics works. I wouldn't elected someone as president without poltical experience.

The other area of expertise that would be nice to have for a president is a leadership role in an organisation where the person made a lot personal management (CEO of a company, goverour or some minister).
A lot of being a good president means choosing the right person for the right job.
Neither Hillary, McCain nor Obama have real experience in that department.
Hillary might got a bit of experince in that area as first lady, but it's pretty intransparent to the outside who actually makes decisions in an admistration and how much of the decisions of her man were actually her decisions.

Most other skills can be delegated.

Talking about this in terms of “bad news” or “bad judgment by business leaders” seems archaic. It’s like describing World War One as “a serious diplomatic concern.”
Bruce Sterling about the financial crisis.
