$30,000 national debt

If every man, woman, and child in the United States paid $30,000 the treasury of this country would be out of debt.

It's pretty pathetic that the debt has gotten higher than $30,000 per person living here! Thank goodness we're a nice happy peaceful country that doesn't waste money on unneccesary wars when it could be much better spend fixing our education system or health care problems.

No the national debt is 9 trillion and there are a little over 300 million people in the US. Divide 9 trillion by 300 million.

But don't worry, the rate that we are going will be at $400,000 before you know it.

Either way it's ridiculous I guess.

Can you imagine? For every child that is born today, they are responsible for this debt that they had nothing to do with and on their backs they are responsible for other's retirement, medicare, bringing democracy to Iraq, etc. No wonder the US government turns a blind eye to illegal immigration. They want other people to come here to take some of this burden. No joke.
