Hey everyone, This is the closest relevant place I could find to post this: What do you folks think of this guy? He's making a huge splash with the American Public at the moment. YouTube - Ron Paul: A New Hope |

I was trying to figure out what's so appealing about him the other day. His policy ideas are pretty fresh, but I think as a person he just seems to have a lot of integrity. He doesn't play the fake politics game that so many other candidates play. He just comes off as genuine and honest. I don't get that vibe about any other candidates I've seen in this election.

I like Ron Paul because he seems to have a reason behind his policies other than just mollifying voters. He actually seems to believe in what he says, and he is telling America "This is what I believe, whether you vote for me or not. Vote for me if you believe it too." He seems to believe what he says, and more importantly, he can logically back his beliefs with more than just vague feelings of altruism.

I'm against voting; it's a completely corrupt cover-up. But if Paul becomes President, I'll be happier. He's the only one who has a chance from the Republican side, because he beats Hillary (she'll win Democrats for sure) on the Iraq issue. No other Republican candidate has that claim. |
