 |  Suggestions, advice, critique needed
Ho all, I am working on a website-blog-thingy; Writing the Game I would love your feedback! And suggestions on where and how I can market it. I've submitted to a few blog carnivals, but it only went live today, so I have lots of work ahead of me  |

very quickly, I will say -I love game development, so nice topic -The title is a bid hard to read. I like what you tried to do, but maybe try some different colors for the background. -You submitted to a blog carnival on your first day??? I should probably do that by now(my blog is three months old). |

Yaaah, I like to start building traffic as quickly as possible. It keeps me motivated, and comments give me ideas of what to blog about  I agree about the top header image, that's like the third incarnation o.0 I shall fiddle with it some more! |

Overall I like it, the banner definitely needs more work. I would probably lower the opaqueness of the text layers behind the title text; different colors and some different sizes maybe? I am not much of a designer, but I hope that helps. |

Nice layout, but to echo what Addict said, I didn't much care for the banner. If I ever get around to restarting work on the JAMMAForever project, I'll be sure to mention your site in a blog post at some point. |

Thanks for all the helpful feedback! I have changed the banner (I'm not sure if maybe it's *too* dull now? lol) and added some image icons to each post to spice it up a bit ^_^Caveman Joe - Thanks! I live for links XD |

Yeah, simplicity is always the way to go :P Okay, next question: Building Traffic. I have submitted to RSS directories, blog carnivals, and start posting my signature in various places. I also added social bookmarks, and sent out leaflets to libraries and school advertising the writing competition. Any more ideas? |

Just keep writing good content, it will slowly catch on - if you hang out on game programming or game modding forums you will pick up the most traffic that way. Spend time with other individual of your niche - that will catch the fire much better than submitting to RSS feeds etc... |
