Default How much does a forum cost to put on your webpage?

Forgive me for the rookie questions. I was wondering how much does it cost to get a forum set up like this one? In the future I would like to get a forum going with member profiles and such. I want to start this when my webpage starts to get active.

SMF and vBulletin are both free.

Here are some other options.

Did you mean costs to have the site hosted?

I wish vB was free, that is expensive.

SMF is the closest thing to vB that is free. But phpbb is better for beginners or lazy people.

Default Thanks for the help

Thanks for the help everyone. I found exactly the forum I need. I wish I found this place and your guys along time ago. My website is a year old now but if I came here first I am sure it would be a lot more successful. But I am doing a total face lift and purchasing a domain for my website. So I am excited to see how much traffic I get next year.

thanks again
