Hi everyone, I hope I post to the correct category. I found that my domain name is being blocked by this forum and every time if I type my domain name, it will be replaced with ********** censored word. This will happen every time I type my domain name in both thread and signature. So am I doing anything wrongly that make me being blocked by moderator? I really want to know what is my mistakes and wish to ask for forgiveness.... Last edited by finandom; 08-18-2007 at 11:16 PM. |

| Yeah I think so. Because I promoted a free ebook and my blog in my signature. I suspect the free ebook might be considered as offensive. Anyway, I apologize for this if I really wrong and offense anyone. Anybody can help me to solve this problem?

We have a filter to prevent spam that censors some webaddresses. You should try again setting your signature (if I understand it right the filter treats you different based on the number of your posts, so if you tried it the last time with a lower post count it might work now). If it still doesn't work please let the signature stand the way you want it to look and reply in this thread with your url in the form www example com. The filter should allow you to write it that way and I can edit the correct address into your signature. |

Your domain was blocked because you were using it to link directly to sales pages, which is a violation of forum policy. As per the forum rules: Use reasonable signatures - Signatures that include links to free content-based sites are generally fine. However, in order to prevent forum abuse by internet marketers, the following types of signatures are unacceptable: visually obnoxious signatures; signature links that go directly to sales pages, lead generation pages, or email capture pages; or links to known scams or pyramid schemes. Signatures that ignore this rule will be censored or deleted, and continued abuse is cause for banning. If your intention is to use these forums primarily as a marketing outlet, you've come to the wrong place. |
