Default How much practice is required?

How much practice is required to be web-savvy for the modern age?

I'm curious because I had some training in the late 1990s, but haven't done any web-related work since then. If I desired to be reasonably web-savvy by today's standards, how many hours a week would I need to devote to it?

I think you could become web savy pretty fast if you work hard at it. Though I don't really know how long it will take.

As for me, I don't when I become web savy but I think it is a long term process.

That's what I'm asking. How hard is hard?

What do you mean "web-savvy"? You are writting on this forum so you must have a pretty good understanding of how to use the "internetz".

I think the only things different about the internet between the late 90's and now is blogs, streaming videos and social networking. Try out YouTube, browse a few blogs and maybe create a personal profile on myspace/facebook or other social networking site.

oh n member there is a new frm on english on teh internetz thse days lolz you right in lower case spell evrythng wrng use shortened wrds n not use any puntuation n end every sentance with lol its a gr8 new world rofl!!!! ..... Yeah, doesn't make much sense does it?

I was puzzling the definition of web-savvy too. Is that understanding and use or the ability to build your own sites and tools?
