| Does changing the IP address of a web site or blog affect traffic and search engine ranking? I was just asked this question and my guess is that it can affect these things but I am really not sure. |

| No, it shouldn't have any effect whatsoever. Just make sure that you're not using the old IP in any of the backend programming of the site. |
