Correction: The title should read "What % of visitors convert into subscribers". For my fellow bloggers here (including Steve, if he wants to chime in), I'm wondering what kind of conversion rate people are getting in terms of visitors to subscriptions. My conversion rate seems to be about 1% -- so a recent run of 60,000 visitors (over the last week), netted me about 600 new subscribers. Is this low? High? What are other people getting? I'm asking because I plan to try a few new landing page techniques if my conversion rate is too low. Last edited by JohnPlace; 06-28-2007 at 05:30 PM. |

I apologize, I should have been more clear. Yes, I'm talking about the conversion rate of the number of people who visit my site to the number of people who subscribe to my RSS feeds. Trying to get some idea for what others are seeing. | |

My subscriber count tends to be about 1% of my traffic (visitors) for the month, but I've never tracked it by anything shorter than a month, so I'm not certain if that reflects the same rate you're talking about. Next time I get a big hit of traffic, I'll try to see if that's accurate or not. |
