Arrow Word 2007: Draft Viewing Options

Dear folks,

I've recently "migrated" from MS Word 2002 to Word 2007. When I work on long texts I prefer working in the draft viewing mode.

In the older version I was able to let the text be "swapped" over the whole screen, and not to be contained only within the margins of the actual (i.e. printed) sheet/page. Let me better explain:

Now the text in the draft view is not filling the entire screen but is confined within the limits of the page margins. This results in viewing the text almost as if using only the Print Layout view.

I want Word 2007 showing my written text in the draft mode from the left hard border of my computer screen to the right hard border.

I knew how to the check the relevant box in the Options menu in the 2002 version but with Word 2007 I'm clueless.

Can be please anybody help me?

Greetings,
Elmex

Is this the same as the "Read" button on Office 2003?

Default Don't know the Read button

I don't know nothing about the Read button, I also didn't use much Word 2003 but as far as I understood it's not much different from the 2002 version.
Word 2007 however is really quite different, the GUI has been generally overworked.

What I was referring in my thread to was that when one choses between the viewing modes of your text (Print Layout, Full Screen Reading, Web Layout, Outline & Draft) I wanted in Draft viewing mode the text to be swapt over the entire screen, as much as it goes from one hard border to the other.

Default Solution found!

Go to Word Options --> Advanced --> Show document content --> check this box: Show text wrapped within the document window
