Hey guys -- I haven't posted in here for a while, but I have been reading (and stumbling) not to mention digging and redditing occasionally. Anyway, today I wrote a post that I feel is pretty valuable, and I would be absolutely delighted if people would stumble it (if they think it's worth it).

The post is
Write the Game » So you want to be a Concept Artist?

Please take a look and let me know what you think (and give it some stumble love!).

Hi Guys,

I looked at your article Interfaceleader and had trouble with the download. I'll give it look again later (maybe too busy).

JimC, I left my 2 cents on your question too.

I have a new article on Tips on How To Develop Patience and for you philosophy buffs my philosopher of the month is Niccolò Machiavelli.

My own philosophy is that personal development should encompass all aspects of the individual - the mind, body and spirit. Certainly balance is key.

Thank you guys for helping me to get started. My blog has really taken off this month, and you guys provided the initial push to get me there. I haven't reached my goal of 500 subscribers yet (I still have 20 days!), but I'm over halfway there now, with 256 as of this morning. I've had one article receive over 20,000 page views this month, and another one reach over 10,000.

So, thank you for helping me. May your journeys also be blessed.

Here's a collection of articles for you, all of them I've published since my last post on here, including a sneak preview of today's article, if you read this in the next hour:

Courage In A Moment, Courage In A Lifetime

Change The Schools, Change The World

7 Small Things You Can Do To Improve Your Relationship

Perception - What's In A Name?

One-Upsmanship - Why Some People Have To Be Better Than You

One Simple Way To Make Anyone Like You

The Essence Of Effective Communication - Shared Experiences

A Simple Way To Strengthen Your Family

And today's:"Should I Ask Her To Marry Me?" - 20 Things To Consider Before Proposing

As always, these are for you to read, and vote for if you find interesting... and don't forget, for those of you who have accounts, digg and reddit votes can be very helpful, as well (and there's an easy link at the bottom of each of my articles for those sites).

Wow, that was a huge list... hope I'm not overwhelming anyone. Hopefully a lot of you are subscribed and have already read all of my articles anyway .
Jason
As always your articles are great and well thought out. Diffidently digging them (and stumbling)

i always used to say. Patience is a virtue - that i lack!
I now know that i mistook patience for being complacent.

Great article

I have an account. Should I install it on my website as well?

And then, by doing this and by stumbling articles that I enjoyed, I will attract many more visitors to my site?

Here's my stumbleupon site: StumbleUpon » Welcome to StumbleUpon
StumbleUpon is where people vote for (thumbs up) or against (thumbs down) your site. Then people Stumble ie click on the Stumble! icon on their browser to find a voted upon site, and the more popular you are the more likely your site is to come up.

SU is already on your site. You have a WordPress blog and it is on the left side in the list of BookMark My Site - Social Bookmarks at the bottom.

You may want to help people Stumble particular posts for example with a "Share This" plugin beneath each post. It's the one I am using on my site at this stage.

Stumbling is a viral thing and it usually takes quite a few Stumbles for a site to start a wildfire. That's why there are groups like this :-)

I've found that it takes about 10-ish stumbles to start taking off, and if I hit 20, I'm likely going to hit 50+ (I have yet to find a way to figure out how many stumbles you've gotten over 50).

Speaking of which, here's my latest article, for those who are interested:

Being A Dad You Can Count On - 7 Pillars Of Fatherhood

I had one hit the popular page on SU a couple days ago... it'd be really cool if I could do it twice in one week!

By the way, anyone who has Reddit and wants to vote for this article, your help is greatly appreciated.

I assume you all are smart people here. I know most of you are, just from reading the blogs.

I hope you will take a look at my post here:
Rain and the Reverse Funnel System | Small-town Big-shot

and tell me what you think.

I tried to explain the Reverse Funnel System as good as possible, but I'm not sure if everyone can understand it. You'll see why I am asking this question if you read and understand the article.

For the record, it is NOT a pro-RFS post.

Anyone who reviews your site on SU, the backline is created in their blog. So it can be good.

Also, I have another article, that took me forever to research and write! So I would appreciate some stumbles ^^

Hey everyone,

If you folks could stumble:

The Community for Excellence Forum - Powered by vBulletin

Or my page on the site (in my sig) I would appreciate it.

I think that a lot of people on this board specifically would get value from the site. It's a great addition to a lot of what is discussed on StevePavlina.com.

Thanks for the help! (But please don't stumble it if you don't like it.)

SU does not give your site trackbacks or pingbacks, etc.

While it can be a source of traffic, you should not look at SU as a place to gain backlinks, it is more a form of SMO (Social Media Optimization) rather than SEO.

If I review, say Toptenlisted.com - The Premier Source for Original Top Ten Lists, the review plus the link to the website appears in my SU blog at interfaceleader.stumbleupon.com

It has a nofollow tag, so Google and Wordpress won't count it, but people can still use it as a link - I've had quite a few people come to my site via links from people's individual stumble blogs, rather than by stumbling directly.

I understand what you are saying now, by "blog" I thought you were referring to our actual blogs with our domain names, where we write our posts, have it hosted, etc.

Which is why on "those" blogs, the ones we own, don't get SU links.
