Finally! Website is here!

Wow, so...after three days of self-teaching and three gruelling days of coding, my website is finally up.

The Asmoday Experiment: www.darkworkers.org

Love to hear your thoughts. I'll get the forums up as soon as I learn all the scripting (SIGH) I need. :-)

If you don't have Monotype Corsiva, or Impact the sight won't come off exactly as intended, but still should be okay.

And, I know the legal disclaimer and privacy notice links don't work yet.

Wow, it still makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

I really enjoyed your site. You have a great writing style and an interesting story to tell. I had seen the term 'lightworkers' and 'darkworkers' being used but not really understood their true meaning. Thanks for the insight.

Why'd you save your counter and host it on your site?

The counter won't work unless you hotlink to it from where you got it from. It'll just have the same number on it all of the time.

Anyway, you've got a good writing style, but the text is hard to read.
It looks better to me with white text and size 14px font, but you'd still need headers.

To save yourself the worry of people not having Monotype Corsiva or Impact, just turn the heading into an image and put the text into an alt tag.

Also, I'd either make your main text white or just make it a little bigger or bold. The default times new roman font gets a little hard on the eyes after a while.

Red on black? Are you sure, it's very hard to read and hurts my eyeballs There's a reason why most popular sites are black on white

Wow, thanks for all the feedback, everyone!

On the text, this is ironic, because I switched it with the initial non-live test group to what it is -- who complained about white on black, but, in the end, I'll have to go with the actual audience. I'm experimenting with some different styles, and I hope to have that changed soon. The day-job only allows for so much site-time in one day.

I'm working on the forums issue -- frankly, I lack the php -- but I know someone, and they'll fix it when their schedule allows.

The counter is just a graphic, I'll be replacing it soon.

I appreciate your time and effort, the writing is there, just bear with the tech-noob, if your reality allows such patience.

New post that I think has some value for everyone, on any path, if your eyes can hack it!

There are some quick changes to the main text to help everyone's eyes a bit while I experiment to find what works. Wow, that took like 10 seconds (I love CSS...).

See, that's me, folks. I'm all about you. :-)

It's readable for me now...

I'd still try either white or rgb(192, 192, 192) for the text color.

I love your writings so far. As a former dabbler in the more theatrical version of the left-hand path, I found it very interesting.

I'd make more of a distinction between blog posts, since people who are frequent visitors just want to read the new post since they've read all of the other ones. You could put a large space(~200px?) in between posts..

Or you could put the most recent post on the front page..
(or make the front page the blog page instead of an introduction)
