Site with validated code still lags in IE
 

Hi, I run a site.
I don't know a whole lot about coding and tech, but I validated everything and the site works fine in other browsers. Unfortunately, it lags quite badly in IE and I simply don't know why. This is a problem, as the majory of customers to the stite use some version of IE:

Does anyone have a clue why IE can't run the page smoothly, like other browsers can?

This is blackwater's coadmin. I just want to add, in case anyone tries to validate the file, that the Facebook like box causes errors, but when we comment that part out, the code checks out as valid.

Hope someone with tech knowledge can tell us what IE's problem is! :)
