PPC newbie alert! (Me that is

)

So, I once got banned by google adwords in my FIRST campaign. OUCH! and before I create another one, I was just wondering if you guys have any tips to prevent from being banned in the first place.

I know I had done wrong before but what pisses me off is that Google doesn't give the reason for the ban. Well, I guess I have to figure it out by myself.

Anyhow, any tips?

most people are banned because they adverstise adult content or piracy?

You gotta have a legitimate, content rich, Webmaster compliant (per Google's Webmaster guidelines) website.

Promoting affiliate links while not impossible is harder.

Promoting reviews that link back to products is not allowed (bridge pages).

Having a website that isn't transparent and content rich is frowned upon.

It's not impossible but a lot harder and more selective now than it was in the "good ol' days".

I have a content-rich site. 1 page on that whole site is my list of recommended reading, which links back to amazon. should I delete adsense on that page?
