Greek Dog will become famous soon enough
Default Auto zoom went wild - help!

I was typing an entry in another forum when my computer screen blinked and the forum view enlarged once and then twice. Now the type is so large that very little fills the entire screen making it difficult to read and navigate.

I expect that it is quite simple to remedy but I don't know how.

Also, episodically my cursor turns into a greyed target looking thing about 1cm in diameter which automatically scans down the document I am viewing. I don't know what it is or how to control it.

Any ideas?
Thank you.

I am using Google Chrome and went to the tool icon in the upper right corner and adjusted the zoom there. But what is happening that automatically causes it to zoom.

You've most likely got a key or mouse button (maybe the middle button or scroll wheel?) stuck. Check your keyboard for any sticking keys, and do the same with your mouse.

To zoom in and out use CTRL in conjunction with the - and + keys next to the backspace key. Replace CTRL for the Apple key for Macs. Hoping this helps.
