  |  'Devin C. from ILM': how to eliminate scam?
Hello, Has anyone ever come across this annoying "Devin C. from ILM" before? He keeps scamming my Inbox with his trash upwards to 5 times daily. How can we BLOCK idiots from reaching us in the 1st. place? Kind suggestions appreciated!  Last edited by sk8joyful; 11-09-2011 at 07:15 PM. |

It's all speculation at this point, we'll need more information to provide an accurate resolution. What email program do you use? (outlook, thunderbird, outlook express or through your browser) Who is your mail server with? (ie. your home connection (att, comcast, time warner), through a free provider (like hotmail or yahoo), etc... Can you provide more information? |

Those are very kind words, thank you! Yeah, I have the rep limitations too. lol I was going to rep you for this post, but BLAARG it won't let me So yeah, thunderbird has a button labeled junk, it looks like a little flame. Click that on his emails and thunder bird will throw it in the junk folder. After a while it'll remember those messages and automatically remove them. If you have a good antivirus, it'll help determine junk too. Depending on who your mail provider is, you may be able to block that senders address from even getting through. Good luck! Spam is such a PITA  |
