Okay maybe this really lame. but how do I get my profile picture up?

I got it up for my profile, but when I post on a thread, nothing shows up.

What do I do???

Under user CP, select avatar

yes that's right and make sure your pic is the right size so that it won't fail to upload

Keep in mind that Avatar and profile picture are two different things. If you want the picture to show up in threads, what you want to upload is Avatar.

I tried using a picture of myself, but the file was too big.

How do you shrink it down???

You can do it in Photobucket or a similar site. Just upload the picture, and click 'edit' and then 'resize'

There are other ways, that is just simple.

Also try saving it as .png. That should help reduce the size.
