Privacy problem

I live where there is very slow conection to the internet becuse my family and I share the same stream with the rest of my street. so if one house downloads a huge bunch of data it effects everybody. Latley the internet had been drastically going up and down randomly. my house was suspected to be the culpret so my dad set another router that would track what was hogging all the connection. I didnt see a problem with this because i didnt care. Well at least until i found out my dads ulterior motives with setting it up. He now can see what everybody who is using an internet source in the house on his computer. To the tinniest detail. I find this to be a very drastic privacy problem that he can look at my facebook page and my gmail straight from his computer. plaese help me find a way to block this.

If you can, buy an internet USB dongle and get your own internet.

Actually he could always check to see what other people are doing on his network, not many people know how to but it's not hard to figure out. If he's doing it how I think he's doing it he's only able to view what sites you go to, now your personal messages, emails, etc. Just by googling it you can see how it's done, start, run, cmd, and so on. Is he tech savy?
