Hi guys! Quick question for everyone: I have a SBI site that is going to be upgraded by a site designer. One such site he made is: Northern Michigan Energy Auditing Correct me if I'm wrong but this involves using a WYSIWYG HTML editor like Kompozer and just re-uploading the html that the designer will give me through there? Then SBI would serve to do what for me? Any info, especially firsthand would be much appreciated! Thanks! |

If the designer gives you HTML files, you can just upload them directly to SBI. SBI is great. It will help to get your site indexed and with good ranks in search engines. Basically it just helps you to make your site successful. |

You might want to hold off on paying someone else for a site design. Ken recently announced that the new Block Builder system will be ready by December. He also linked to a preview of it, and it looks really snazzy: BB2-Alpha8-SneakPeek As an answer to your question, the main thing I use SBI for today is the keyword tool. I haven't found anything else out there that provides the same super-valuable keyword data for a price as cheap as SBI. Of course there's also all those other tools and functions as well. That's an informative link, Curtis! I may sign up with them yet, for some other sites in the future, during their Mother's Day Sale or something! Could you tell me more about this mysterious keyword tool of theirs? I actually saw it briefly once at a friend's house and, IIRC, was given to understand that it worked off of Yahoo! Wordtracker and Google's Adwords Tool...is that right? I liked their private business forums and I don't quite get keyword research, so I may just spring for a membership on those grounds alone! |

@ piano performer: Great, that's what I was hoping to hear! Have you done this with an SBI based page? @ Curtis: Great info to have! I was always wondering when they'd upgrade. Will check out that vid. Am still getting the design super cheap through a friend though, so may do it this month. Are there any special instructions to give the designer? Thanks for all the replies! |

I also recommend SBI to all of my clients. I'm building a site now for a client, and using SBI for it. | |

@pianoperformer: Great! Looks like you've put a lot of work into your site. That is, if I'm not mistaken, an SBI template though right? Do you use the SBI block builder or a WYSIWYG program? For everyone else, and those that stumble onto this thread in search of similar info, this SBI link should prove helpful: SBI! Help & Strategies - Integration Guidelines |
