Default How to delete own thread

Hi, I want to know that how can one delete one's own thread whether it is new one or posted on someone else's thread. Thanks in advance for helping.

You can delete your post, but not a thread you have started.

The way you delete a post is via the edit button when viewing your post located at the lower right.

Here is a link to the FAQ topic about editing and deleting a post

That's true but the FAQ contain the passage:

Your ability to edit your posts may be time-limited, depending on how the administrator has set up the forum.
There a time limit. I think it's something like a day. Afterwards there no possibility to delete posts anymore.

Thank you, I had seen that there was a time limit in the faq but did not know what the length of time of that limit was..
