Default Site help

Not sure if this is the best place to ask....

When I log on, I like to look over any post I'm commented on or ones I've started. I do this by going to search, putting in my own name.

Is there an easier way that I'm missing?

Yes! Do you see the "User CP" link in the top navigation bar? It will be the left-most option. Click on that, and you can see all the threads you're subscribed to that have updated since you last viewed them, in reverse chronological order.

If you want to view all your subscribed threads, click on "Quick Links" in the top navigation bar -- it should be next to "Log Out," on the right hand side. Go down to "Subscribed Threads" and it will show all the threads you're subscribed to, also in reverse chronological order.

I'm pretty sure that the forum software automatically subscribes you to threads when you post in them, but in case it doesn't, you can turn that setting on in the control panel as well -- click User CP, go to "edit options," and scroll down to the heading "Default Thread Subscription Mode." I have mine set to "no emails," which subscribes me to threads but doesn't send me an email -- if you want the software to email you, you can select either instant, daily, or weekly emails.

Oh, thank you so much. It only did it automatically for one. I'll get that switched over though.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!
