ASP Not SEO Friendly??

I'm about to sign up with 3dCart for my first-ever website to promote and sell my fiction online and I've just found out that 3dCart utilizes ASP and ASP isn't so SEO-able!

Is this true??

Thunderkeg 11-28-2011 05:59 PM

you can't tell that it is not SEO-able,but the thing is it has different problems. It is hard to move individual domains to the ASP servers. The ASP servers do not have separate C-class IP's, and there are no Windows SEO servers http://imagicon.info/cat/5-6/vbulletin-smile.gif

No, ASP has no bearing on the effectiveness of SEO efforts on your website. ASP is a server-side language. SEO is all controlled through the HTML on your front facing pages... aka client-side.

Thanks, Thunderkey and aussieNickuss! Not sure where I'd read such rumors, but glad to know Google's smarter than that. :o
