First, I apologize if this has been covered in other posts, but I couldn't find any info using the search, so here goes.... I'm going to start a blog and monetize it from the beginning. I've checked out some of your guys' blogs (my favorite is Broke-Ass Student ) and I'm just curious, if anyone is willing to share, what kind of income are you guys getting per month, ballpark? My main goal for my blog is just to keep it self sustainable, ie the ad revenue pays for web hosting/domain costs etc. Have you found this to be attainable? Thanks for any info you can share, Jason |

I've got two (see my sig), though lately all my time only goes into the Vista blog. Don't expect much for at least three months. If you invest a lot of time and do things right, it will start to pick up then when you get out of the Google 'sandbox'. The Vista blog has been up for 5 months, and is beginning to pay off. Last month I made a little more than $150 (mostly Google Adsense). I'm hoping to increase that to $200 this month, and continue increasing until I can hopefully hit $1000 per month.
