just starting up - I have negotiated two weeks off from my postgrad course at the end of May so I am taking that time to set up my website. I can provide a variety of services/content and will set up more than one (I have bought my domain names). I am basically setting it up on nothing (I have the hosting and the domain names sorted out). I understand that Wordpress is important but what else? What is the best free software to start up? I am thinking content management (alot of this is already written), forums, and eventually some sort of payment system such as paypal/credit cards. I shall also start to make money from the content by linking to amazon etc. All the best Lily |

I would recommend you to start with one site and make that site great insteat instead of trying to start multiple mediocre sites. There is always a market for another great site, but their isn't for another mediocre one. |

thank you for that Brutha - I am planning to just make one site during the first two weeks and see how far I get with it. The reasoning behind multiple sites is that I have two "professional" skills to market and I want to set up a blog on conscious living also. Good luck! Lily |
