Default Car radio remote stopped working.

The remote for a Pioneer Super Tuner III D car radio stopped working all of a sudden. I replaced the battery, and even bought a new remote off eBay. But still no luck.

Any idea what it might be?

help is always appreciated!

it might have to be reset
there is usually a button to the left bottom of the steering wheel
but your best bet is to get someone from an auto shop which deals with that to just do it
there is a code system of so many clicks that can free those things up but those guys will know depending on the make of the car etc

usually guys at detail shops and at nickel tire rim shops can handle it for very little costs

you can also do a search on the internet, just put your car make and say that your clicker no longer works, you might find a solution in that way.

I had already searched for how to resolve the problem on the internet, but I was searching more in reguards to the radio, rather than a reset button for the car.

This is not the stock radio for the car, just incase u thought it was.

This reset button you're talking about? It could be the problem no matter what radio I would have hooked up? It's my dads car, a hyundai accent 04' btw.

Thank you for your input so far, I really appreciate it!

there should be a reset button or dimple button on the radio itself
problem is where it is
again check at a local shop which services that particular radio

I cannot find a reset button, and I tried unpluging the whole unit for 15 minutes and plugging back in.

I'm pretty sure I replaced the battery a while back, there would be no reason for me having tried to order a replacement remote if I had not at least tried a new battery.

Perhaps the remote sensor has gone bad in the head unit. How old is the radio?
