Default GoToMeeting webinars

Just thought I would flag something up for those of you looking to host webinars or similar.

Tonight I joined a webinar that I was really looking forward to. Unfortunately, I missed the first half an hour because Go To Meeting requires some kind of download (of which I was unaware) before you could start.
Being on a dongle internet not ADSL and as it is evening here and the net goes mighty slow during evenings, it took me 40 minutes to download the necessary and join the webinar which I was gutted about.

So, if you are planning on running them, please advise your clients if they will have to download something and if they can download it in advance so they can be ready to roll when your webinar opens!

That's it!

Just to report that another friend living in Egypt and completely coincidentally on the same evening had exactly the same issues of going round in circles with the download screen for a completely different webinar.

I've taken a ton of webinars on GoToWebinars and the system works well for me but I couldn't imagine what it would be like on a non-high speed internet system.
