After shutting off my xp laptop the wrong way I have been getting the BOSD with a BAD_POOL_CALLER error. I can't even boot into safe mode. error: ***STOP: 0x000000C2 (0x00000043, 0xDCDDB000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) can anyone help with this? |

Sounds like the files that are managing your operating system is corrupted since the computer shut down while it was doing something important to its files. I would just format it and reinstall windows, but that's just something I would do because I have all my files backed up on a separate hard drive. I don't know how else to fix this problem. I would recommend trying: System restore If you take it to a computer repair shop (and get charged lots of money), they could probably fix it for you. But that's expensive as hell and sometimes all they would do is reinstall windows with all your previous files backed up. |
