Hi,

Is there any software for showing positive thoughts?

Like, we all surf the internet or sit on computers for various reasons. How about a software that can show a useful positive quote or inspirational quote after sometime, say 30 minutes, to keep us up and working?

For example, whenever windows updates itself, after restarting the computer, it gives a message,

"Windows successfully installed updates. To see which updates were installed, click here"

When firefox completes downloading a file, it also shows a message,

"All files have finished downloading.."

I need something similar. Some software kind of thing that can show a useful quote after sometime automatically...

I think such automatic reading of positive quotes will help us up and working and keeping our mind focussed on the task at hand.

Is there any such software that has been developed?

I guess there must be a Firefox addon for this. Or a gadget in igoogle.

Sounds easy enough to make if you cannot find it. Maybe you could persuade someone to do it for kicks.

there are some softwares available that are doing what I wanted.. but thing is, they are not fully compatible with windows 7, and not showing good quotes. some of them were freeware too...( in last few days, i had tried on some softwares...)

One was this:

Quotes - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com

And the other was this one:

PopUp Wisdom - Mouser - Software - DonationCoder.com


but none suited my tastes...

P.S.: Just tried softpedia, and found some cool softwares...

Here we go:

Searching for: quote - Softpedia

If you people find time, then keep on trying some of those softwares.. I am also trying freeware softwares and see if something useful is found...

Any software where you can EDIT the quotes? I.e. make your own affirmations?
